
Brian Busselle
Born in Sevenoaks in 1940 he attended Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone Art College obtaining a degree in graphic design in 1960.
This was followed by a thirty-year career in advertising in London, picking up several awards on the way. He then de-camped to France for five years to pursue his passion, painting.
Returning to England he was drawn to Cornwall and was invited to join St. Ives Society of Artists where he became a director and exhibited regularly in the Mariner's Gallery and other venues for twenty years. He was also a member of the Plymouth Society of Arts.
In 2013 he won the Gloss Gallery Prize in Exeter and the South West Academy awarded him a highly commended in the same year.
In 2022 he returned to Kent to be with his family and paints in Deal.
